BATHROOM WATER DAMAGE
Bathroom leak?Stop the spread.
Toilets, showers, tubs, sinks and plumbing connections put a lot of water into a small room. When something leaks or overflows, moisture can move beneath tile, flooring, vanities, baseboards and adjoining walls before the full extent is obvious.
Common bathroom water-loss sources.
The source may be obvious, but the path water takes through the room often is not. TNT evaluates visible and accessible affected areas and helps plan mitigation and repairs.
Toilet overflows
Overflow water can move beneath flooring, into baseboards and through penetrations around the toilet. For contaminated water, cleanup requirements can be more extensive.
Shower & tub leaks
Failed seals, plumbing connections and enclosure problems can wet wall cavities, subflooring and nearby trim over time.
Sink & supply lines
Vanity plumbing and supply-line failures can damage cabinets, drywall and flooring before water is discovered.
Upstairs bathrooms
A second-floor loss can affect the bathroom itself plus ceilings, insulation, walls and rooms below.
Where bathroom water can hide.
Water may migrate under tile or resilient flooring, behind baseboards, into vanity toe-kicks, through drywall and into the ceiling below. Staining, swelling, soft materials, musty odor or recurring paint damage can signal a larger moisture problem.

Mitigation through repair.
Depending on the loss, the work may include water removal, moisture evaluation, structural drying, selective removal of damaged materials, drywall and trim repair, flooring work, paint and reconstruction. TNT can help move the property from the initial damage toward finished repairs.
Insurance claim or direct pay?
Either is welcome. You do not need an insurance claim to contact TNT. For insurance-related losses, TNT can provide contractor documentation such as photos, estimates, scopes and invoices. Coverage and settlement decisions remain with the insurer.
