Drywall & flooring repair. After water damage.

Water losses frequently leave behind more than a drying project. Once the moisture is controlled, homeowners may still need damaged drywall, baseboards, flooring, trim, paint and other finishes rebuilt. TNT Restoration and Construction can carry the project from mitigation into the repair phase.

Why finish materials need careful evaluation.

Different materials react to water differently. Some can dry in place; others may swell, delaminate, lose integrity or need removal so concealed areas can be accessed and dried.

Drywall

Wet drywall may require drying, partial removal or replacement depending on the extent and condition of the affected material.

Flooring

Water can affect finished flooring as well as padding, underlayment and subfloor materials beneath the visible surface.

Trim and baseboards

Baseboards and trim can trap moisture along wall edges and may need to be removed and reinstalled or replaced.

A repair plan that starts with mitigation.

The reconstruction phase works best when it follows a clear drying and removal plan. TNT can coordinate the sequence so new materials are installed after the affected areas are ready for them.

Dry and monitor

Control moisture and confirm that affected areas have progressed appropriately before closing them back up.

Remove what is damaged

Use selective demolition where materials cannot reasonably remain or where access is needed for drying.

Rebuild the surfaces

Replace drywall, flooring, trim and related materials as required by the project.

Finish the room

Complete paint, texture and other finish work so the repaired area returns to a finished condition.

Mitigation and build-back under one roof.

A water-loss project should not stall after the fans are removed. TNT’s broader construction capability allows the same project to continue into the drywall, flooring, trim, paint and remodeling work that may be needed afterward.

FREE inspection before you decide: We can inspect the visible damage at no charge and discuss repair options. Insurance-related projects and smaller direct-pay repairs are both welcome, with no obligation to hire TNT afterward.
